In the end of October an interesting play took place in Haaparanta. In this incident main role was played by some neo-finn who had rejection on his asylum application.
30-years old Iraqiano had arrived to Finland 2015 and stayed loitering at Kemi-Tornio region. Time went on and rejections on his refuge status kept dropping on like in pin ball machine back in the good old days. He realized finally that Finland isn’t going to have him as honorary citizen.
Iraqiano was resourceful. He took the bus over the border to Haaparanta and called Swedens 911. Actually he called over twenty times and demanded help. Iraqiano had invented that Sweden could help him and offer free upkeep for life. So it started with twenty or so emergency phone-calls.
How ever police wasn’t nearby to nurse this Iraqiano. This caused double anger. Iraqiano stayed loitering at travel center and set his suitcase on fire. At the same time there was bus leaving to Luleå, Iraqiano demanded to have free bus ride, but bus driver refused the offer.
This then caused that Iraqiano had a total meltdown. He hit the bus driver to face couple times and after that climped to the bus. Inside the vehicle he started wrecking the place and managed to pull down few drapes and textiles.
Eventually police arrived to the scene and Iraqiano was apprehended at bus station.
He was arrested and jailed. Today starts court hearing in Luleå against this neo-finn. Indictment includes belligerent counteraction to officers, battery, possession of edged weapon and other such things.
We are waiting with interest the courts ruling. Will Iraqiano be deported back to Finland where awaits deportation papers back to Iraq.
